James Grant Productions has been in business since 1977. We are a family based entertainment company that serves all of Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
We have been in business for over 38 years in the entertainment field. As a family-run business we take pride in offering a quality service that offers a personalize touch to every event we do.
Our business started in 1977 with myself (James Grant) performing magic shows, and my wife (Beverly Grant) clowning as "Pinky the Clown". We preformed at birthday parties, fairs, schools and Christmas parties and many other events. I also designed a reading show "The Magic Of Reading" for the Ontario Library Service and toured Ontario with this show for 5 year. Later bringing the show to Manitoba where I won an award from The Reading Counsel of Manitoba for this show.
In the early 1980's we also added a DJ Service (B.J.'s Music) to our company, which has been a great success. At this time we wanted to create something new and exciting. And we did! We incorporated the magic,music, karaoke and the clown, and introduced to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario "The Magic Caravan Show" which was a hit! We traveled with our show over 20 years performing at fairs and festivals across these provinces.
In the mid 1990's we introduced Hypnosis shows to our repertoire, as James became a certified Master Hypnotist and a NLP Master practitioner We headlined at many fairs and events across Canada. In 2003 our daughter Misty-Dawn also became a certified hypnotist, and jumped on board performing with her father as the only Father/Daughter Hypnotist act in Canada. Together they preformed and headlined at many fairs, corporate events, schools and Christmas parties. And are still in high demand.
In 2007 Beverly was introduced to the world of glitter and glitter tattoos. Which lead her in a new direction within our business, retiring "Pinky the Clown" and taking on the new adventures of "The Sparkle Girls Glitter Tattoos". Beverly decided to bring the glitter tattoos on the road Traveling across Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan, applying glitter tattoos at the fairs we attended along side "The Magic Caravan Show".
To our surprise "The Sparkle Girls" quickly grew into Manitoba's leading temporary glitter tattoo company. After our first year in business we decided to add airbrush tattoos to our Sparkle Girls line which was also a great success.
In 2012 James had to retire "The Magic Caravan Show" due to health reasons, and now puts all his efforts into the hypnosis shows, magic shows and helping Beverly with "The Sparkle Girls".
In 2015 with James' helping "The Sparkle Girls" introduced A UNIQUE PRODUCT TO MANITOBA Airbrush Face Art (face painting). This unique way of face painting has been The WOW Factor for us. Applied by airbrush this method of face painting gives a more professional and detailed look to the end result.
Ever year we are getting bigger and bigger. In the summer months we travel all over Manitoba and Ontario with a midway doing Glitter and Airbrush tattoos and Face Art Face Painting. In the winter months we are home in Winnipeg entertaining at many of the events that happen right here at home.
Such as: Children's Birthday Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Graduations, Corporate Events, Trade Shows, Fairs, Socials, Weddings, Fundraiser's, Gala Balls and Theme Parties.
